One thing we decided to not to do for our well earned holiday was do the usual Euro trip to Greece, Spain, France or Italy, that's how we found Veranda Palmar Beach Mauritius. We knew Mauritius had a reputation for being a bit tropical and possibly out of our reach, especially with two kids. Just goes to show how wrong you can be.
